The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kudu P.S. Case No. 04/2024 later on converted in CID P.S. Case No. 06/2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 62/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 15, 18, 22, 27, 27(A) & 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned A.J.C.-XVIII-cum-Special Judge, CID, Ranchi. 3. On 06.01.2024 at about 12:30 noon, the informant party intercepted a truck bearing registration no. PB11CB-5370 and apprehended the petitioner alongwith co-accused persons. On search, 1491.450 Kgs of poppy husk were recovered from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is the khalasi of the said vehicle. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. 5. Considering the fact that commercial quantity of poppy husk was recovered from the vehicle of which the petitioner is khalasi, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
