Today, there is no representation for the petitioner, when the matter is calling for hearing. Learned standing counsel for the respondent Nos.1 to 3 submits that this Court vide order dated 03.09.2012 permitted the petitioner to make a representation to the University by mentioning the two or three preferred places of his choice of posting and further direction to the respondent-University to consider the same sympathetically in accordance with the transfer policy. Non-disposal of the representation by the respondents, the petitioner also filed contempt case No.1508 of 2011. The respondent-University filed Writ Appeal No.307 of 2013 and during the pendency of the Writ Appeal it was informed that the respondents have considered the representation of the petitioner. As such, the contempt case closed and even the Writ Appeal was also closed. It is submitted that the petitioner has also attained the age of superannuation . Recording the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-University, no further orders are required in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is Closed.
