INDIRESH ORAL ORDER This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioners seeking writ of mandamus to the respondents 1 to 4 to finalise and to publish the village sketch of Kadalagidada Kaval Village, Mayasandra Hobli, Turuvekere Taluk, Tumakuru District in accordance with the clarificatory sketch prepared in the year-2014 (Annexure-G), mapping the old survey numbers as per 1950 sketch with the corresponding new survey numbers following the re-survey made during the year- 1994 insofar as the land belonging to petitioners are concerned. 2. Pursuant to the order dated 29.04.2025 passed by this Court, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondents has filed affidavit of the Assistant - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:18619 WP NO.13297 OF 2025 Commissioner, Tiptur Sub-Division, Tiptur, Tumakuru District. 3. Sri. V.G. Bhanu Prakash, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for respondents seeks one year time to conduct the survey and also to publish the village sketch of Kadalagidada Kaval Village, Mayasandra Hobli, Turuvekere Taluk, Tumakuru District as sought for by the petitioners. 4. Taking in to consideration the averments made in the petition, though the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for respondents seeks one year time to conduct the survey and to publish the village sketch, I am of the considered opinion that, granting of six months time is reasonable to publish the sketch as stated above, which is the only procedural task to be done by the respondent- Authorities in accordance with law. 5. In that view of the matter, respondents 1 to 4 are hereby directed to publish the sketch of Kadalagidada - 6 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:18619 WP NO.13297 OF 2025 Kaval Village, Mayasandra Hobli, Turuvekere Taluk, Tumakuru District as required under law within an outer limit of six months from the date of receipt of this order.
