The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pakuria P.S. Case No. 32 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 376 & 313 of the Indian Penal Code and thereafter, charge sheet has been submitted under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and subsequently cognizance has been taken, pending in the court of Sri V. K. Das, learned J.M., 1st class, Pakur. Petitioner is alleged to have established consensual physical relationship with the victim on the pretext of marriage. It is further alleged that petitioner, later on, refused to marry her. It was submitted that petitioner and the victim were in live-in-relationship for about three years. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri V.
