SC FOR APTDC The Court made the following ORDER: The writ petition is filed seeking indulgence of this Court, praying the following relief:- “……declaring the action of the respondent No.1 in issuing notice of retirement vide "Notice of Retirement" vide No.APTDC/Admn/P1/5/2015 dated 11.01.2017 in fixing date of retirement from service as 31.07.2017 by considering age of retirement as 58 years as arbitrary, illegal, unconstitutional and violative of G.O. Ms. No. 147 dated 30.06.2014 of the 1st respondent to continue the petitioner in service till the age of 60 years, and to pass……” 2 2. The sum and substance in the present lis is that the petitioner is seeking enhancement of superannuation age from 58 years to 60 years in the respondents Corporation. 3. When the matter is called, there is no representation for the petitioner. 4. On the other hand, Sri Abdul Rasheed, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Tourism/Youth Services, submits that consequent to the interim orders dated 06.06.2017, petitioner service was extended till the superannuation age of 60 years and subsequently, he retired from service on 31.07.2019 along with all retiral benefits. Making the said submissions, he submits that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. 5. In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is closed as no further adjudication is required in the lis. There shall be no order as to costs.
