1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents/Municipal Corporation, Raipur for payment of balance amount of Rs.6 lac, as the petitioner has completed the work “digging of pond” as per the work order dated 09/06/2017.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though a part of the final bill has been paid but still Rs.6 Lac is outstanding, which is not being paid by the respondent/Municipal Corporation to the petitioner.
3. Learned counsel for the respondent/Municipal Corporation on advance copy, on instructions submits that if there is any outstanding amount is due and to be paid to the petitioner, the same would be examined, and if the amount is not in dispute, the same would be released in the favour of the petitioner.
4. I have heard learned counsel for both the parties.

Having considered the submission made by learned counsel for the parties, it appears that the petitioner has completed the work of digging of pond pursuance to the work order dated 09/06/2017, however, Rs. 6 Lac is still outstanding which has not been paid by the respondents/Municipal Corporation to the petitioner, the petition is disposed of with a direction that the respondent/Municipal Corporation shall verify the grievance of the petitioner and if the amount claimed by the petitioner is not in
3 dispute, the same be released to the petitioner within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is
disposed of. SD/-
