By this application under Section 430 of the BNSS, 2023, the applicant is praying for suspension of the sentence contained in the Judgment and Order, dated 07.06.2024, passed in Criminal Appeal No. 36(4)/2023, by the leaned District and Sessions Judge, North Lakhimpur. The applicant has also prayed for releasing him on subsequent bail, under Section 430 BNSS, 2023. The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that the applicant was arrested on 08.08.2025 and is behind the bars for the last 81 days. For the ends of justice, this Court deems it fit that the sentence imposed upon the applicant may be suspended and the applicant may be released on bail, on furnishing of a bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- with one local surety of the link amount, to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court.
