The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the petition and the grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of srI- BHOOMA MAHARSHI REDDY, Advocate for the petitioner and of PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for the Respondent and the court made the following; Dr.Y| Crl.P.No.7519 of20` The Court made the followI-ng.- RDER: The CrI'ml'nal Petition has been fl-led under sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatjya NagarI|k Suraksha sanhjta, 2023 (for brevity tthe BNSS'), seeking to enlarge the petitioner/Accused No.1 on bail jn Cr.No.131 of 2025 of Santhapet police station, spsR NeIIore District, registered against the petitioner/accused No.1 herein for the offence punl-shable under sect]-on 8(c) read with 20(b)(ill)(B) of the NarcotI|C Drugs and psychotropl-c substances Act, 1985 (for brevity {the NDPS Actl). 2. The case of the prosecution Ion nutshell is that on 20.06.2025 at 16.30 hours, on credible informa{jon, the Inspector of police, santhapet police statI'On, NeIIore DjstrI-Ct, along with his staff reached near Radha Krishna Lodge, Railway station Road, NeI[ore city and found accused jn possession of ganJ'a. Then the police caught the accused and found 2 KGs of ganJ|a jn their possession and arrested them on 20.06.2025 under cover of panchanama. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitl-oner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. perused the record. 4. The petitioner/accused No.1 was allegedly found I-n possession Of2 kgs of Ganja and the petjtI-Oner was arrested on 20.06.2025 and he has been in judicial custody for the past 37 days. ` .3 c+.-' 3 Dr.YLR,J ./ Crl.P.No.7519 of2025 5. The learned Assistant public Prosecutor reported that there were no adverse antecedents against the pe{itjoner. Material portion of the investigation I-S completed. 6. The petitI|Oner/accused No.1 shall be enlarged on ba" subject to his executI'ng a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only), with two sureties each for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned I Additional District and sessions Judge, Nellore. Ii.
