GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B.V.L.N.CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION No.381 OF 2025 O R D E R: This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief: “…to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly, one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondent Police in interfering in Civil Disputes and forcing the Petitioner to handover the possession of the House in the land ad-measuring Ac.0.021/2 Cents in Sy.No.383 situated in Kotnuru Village, Hindupur Mandal, Sri Satya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh and in not implementing the G.O.Ms.No.288, Home (PS and C.A2) Department, dated 06.11.2010 In its letter and spirit as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14, 19, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent Police not to force the Petitioner to handover the subject land to Respondent Nos.8 and 9 and pass....” 2. Heard learned counsel representing Sri M.R.K.Chakravarthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Additional Government Pleader for Home on written instructions would submit that the preliminary enquiry of 4 the police would reveal that it is civil dispute, and police will never interfere in civil disputes, and they will follow procedure established by law. 4. The submissions of learned Additional Government Pleader for Home are placed on record. 5. In that view of the matter, no further orders are required in the Writ Petition. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed without going into the merits of the case. There shall be no order as to costs.
