Hon'ble Prashant Kumar,J. 1. Perusal of record shows that the matter was listed on 22.02.2024, in which following order was passed:- "1. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that a cheque amounting to Rs. 50,000/- was dishonored. Although the applicant was previously directed by order of this Court dated 16.02.2017 to deposit the amount of Rs. 50000/- before Magistrate and Rs. 5,000/- for sending the matter to the mediation centre, however, the same could not be deposited. 3. At present applicant undertakes to deposit a sum of Rs. 1 lac before the court concerned within a period of 7 days. 4. Learned A.G.A. has no objection in case applicant deposits Rs. 1 lac before the court concerned. 5. In view of the undertaking given by the counsel for the applicant, in the event, applicant deposits a sum of Rs. 1 lac within 7 days before the court concerned, the same shall be accepted by the court concerned and kept in the fixed deposit account bearing interest of a nationalized bank and receipt of the same shall be issued to the applicant. 6. List this case on 5th March 2024." 2. Today, when the matter is taken up, none appeared on behalf of the applicant to press the application, even in the revised reading of the cause list. However, there is nothing on record to show that the money has been deposited. 3. Accordingly, the application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. stands rejected for want of prosecution.
