Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Matter relates to claim of payment for arrear salary. 3. Ms. D. Musahary, learned Standing Counsel, Secondary Education, by placing the copy of the order issued by the Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education, Janata Bhawan, Dispur, Guwahati, submits that an amount of Rs. 4,77,763/- (Rupees Four Lakh Seventy Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty Three) only has been sanctioned for release of arrear salary to the petitioner. 4. In view of above and as agreed to by the learned counsels for the parties, the writ petition has become infructuous. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed as infructuous. 6. The copy of the sanction order, in respect of A.J.M. Nazmuddin Ahmed, Asstt. Teacher of Model H. S. School, Patherkandi is made a part of the record and marked as ‘x’ for identification.
