GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 18546/2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents 2 to 5 especially respondent No.5 in not registering the FIR against the Respondent No.6 to 10 on the Report dated 10.07.2025 given by the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and also violation of principles of natural justice and also violation of Article 14, 19 and Art 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent No.5 to register the FIR basing on the report of the petitioner dated 10.07.2025 and take appropriate action against the Respondent No.6 to 10 in accordance with law and to pass…” 2. Heard Sri Cheekata Gowri Shankar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on instructions would submit that on receipt of the complaint dated 10.07.2025, of the petitioner, the Police have registered a case in Cr.No.140 of 2025, under Section 85, 351(2) r/w 3(5) BNS and under Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act against the respondent No.6/A-1 and thereafter, the Investigating Officer had served notice under Section 35(3) of BNSS to the respondent No.6/A-1 on 18.07.2025 and requested to dispose of the petition. 4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
