This interlocutory application is preferred by the applicant for impleadment of Sri Abhishek Jain, the District Commissioner, Hailakandi, Assam, as respondent No. 3, in the contempt case, being Cont. Cas. (C) No. 544/2024. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that Sri Abhishek Jain, the District Commissioner, Hailakandi, Assam, is a necessary party in the contempt proceeding, being Cont. Cas. (C) No. 544/2024 and as such, he has to be impleaded as respondent No. 3 in the said contempt proceeding. Page No.# 3/3 Mr. S. Sahani, learned counsel for the opposite party No. 1 and Mr. P. N. Sarma, learned counsel for the opposite party No. 2, submits that they have no objection in the event of allowing this application. Accordingly, taking note of the submissions of both the parties, this interlocutory application stands allowed. Sri Abhishek Jain, the District Commissioner, Hailakandi, Assam, being the necessary party, be impleaded as respondent No. 3 in Cont. Cas. (C) No. 544/2024. In view of the order passed in this interlocutory application, the petitioner shall file an amended cause title in Cont. Cas. (C) No. 544/2024, within a period of one week from today.
