Petitioner(s) are serving in the respondent- Irrigation & Public Health Department and have prayed for direction to the respondents to grant them work charge status from the date they completed eight years of service with all incidental benefits. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner(s) submitted that the issue involved in these writ petitions and the relief prayed for by the petitioner(s) are now covered by the decision rendered by the Hon’ble Apex Court in The State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors. Versus Surajmani & Anr.2. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner(s) would be satisfied in case the respondents are directed to examine their cases in light of the aforesaid judgment within a fixed time schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this prayer. 2 Civil Appeal No.1595 of 2025, decided alongwith connected civil appeals on 06.02.2025 3 4. In view of the stand taken by learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the aforesaid judgment, these writ petitions are disposed of with direction to the respondents/competent authority to consider the cases of the petitioner(s) in accordance with law laid down in Surajmani2 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within six weeks from today.
