Roy, learned standing counsel appearing for the Assam State School Education Board and Mr. U. Sarma, learned standing counsel appearing for the Secondary Education Department. By way of this instant impleadment application, the applicant is seeking impleadment of the Controller of Examination, Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, Bamunimoidam, Guwahati-781021 and the Secretary of Examination, Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, Bamunimoidam, Guwahati- 781021 as arrayed party respondent Nos. 4 and 5. However, Mr. D. K. Roy, learned standing counsel appearing for the Assam State School Education Board, submits that the said two authorities have merged with a new nomenclature, i.e., Assam State School Education Board, Guwahati-21. He accordingly submits that instead of the proposed two respondents, the Secretary, Assam State School Education Board ought to have been impleaded. Page No.# 3/3 At this situation, Mr. S. Islam, learned counsel appearing for the applicant, seeks withdrawal of the interlocutory application with liberty to file afresh. Prayer is allowed.
