NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 24.02.2025 for granting the petitioner’s request for retrospective promotion to the cadre of Assistant Executive Engineer and placing the petitioner in the post of Executive Engineer under Rule 32 of KCSRs. at Annexure-A.” 2. The petitioner was appointed as a Junior Engineer. Later, he was promoted as Assistant Engineer and now, he is working as Assistant Executive Engineer under Rule 32 of KCSRs. from 07.06.2022. 3. The case of the petitioner is that, his junior was promoted as Assistant Executive Engineer. Therefore, he submitted a representation dated 24.02.2025 to consider his case for promotion from the date his junior was promoted and also to consider his case for promotion to - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23083 WP No. 13092 of 2025 the post of Executive Engineer. Since his representation was not considered, he is before this Court. 4. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that, if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 24.02.2025, as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 6.
