The petition under Article 226 of the Constitution is moved seeking directions to respondent Nos. 1 to 9 to release the compensation amount in relation to the acquisition of land Survey No.254 Gut No.331 admeasuring 3 Hectare 7 R situated at village Sasht-Pimpalgaon, Tq. Ambad, Dist. Jalna. He has sought release of the compensation as per new Land Acquisition Act. 3. We have heard the counsel for the petitioner for some time. 4. The acquisition is of 1971. The petitioner has approached this Court in 2019. In view of law laid down by the Apex Court in the matter of Indore Development Authority vs. Manoharlal and Ors. reported in 2020 (8) SCC 129, the claim of the petitioner cannot be said to be maintainable.
