.......... Opp. Parties. -----
CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH SHANKAR ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Sabyasanchi, Advocate For the State : Ms. Surabhi Rani, AC to SC-II -----
Order No.09
Date: 24.01.2025
1. The present contempt case has been filed for initiation of contempt proceeding against the opposite parties alleging wilful violation of the order dated 13th December, 2023 passed in W.P. (S) No.3360 of 2019.
2. Ms. Surabhi Rani, learned A.C. to S.C.-II, appearing on behalf of the respondents-State refers to the letter no.1254, dated 31st August, 2024 as well as the list of Inter Trained Para Teachers under unreserved category whose cases could not be considered due to unavailability of the said post. The name of the petitioner appears at serial no.6 of the said list. It is thus submitted that in compliance of the aforesaid order of this Court, the case of the petitioner along with other similarly situated persons was taken up, however, their applications could
not be considered due to the aforesaid reason. The said
order of this Court has thus been complied.
3. As against this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been illegally prevented by the opposite parties from appearing in the counselling for the post of Inter Trained Teachers (Class-1 to 5).
4. Since the opposite parties have already taken up the case of the petitioner in terms with the aforesaid order of this Court, I see no reason to further proceed in the present matter. The contempt proceeding as against the opposite parties is hereby dropped.
5. The present contempt case stands disposed of.
6. The petitioner is, however, at liberty to take appropriate recourse as permissible under law for redressal of his subsisting grievance. (Rajesh Shankar, J.) Vikas/
