ANITHA MESA (SC FOR APREIS TW SW BC) Counsel for the Contemnor: 1.TBALASWAMI The Court made the following: X ORDER Ms. Anitha Mesa, learned counsel for petitioner, submitted that this Contempt Case has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order of the court dated 08.10.2021 passed in Writ Petition No.23152 of 2021, whereby and whereunder he was directed to dispose of the representation/application of the petitioner dated 04.01.2021. But, by mistake, in the letter addressed to the Registry, permission to withdraw the Contempt Case has been sought, instead of closing the Contempt Case for pursing remedies available to the petitioner pursuant to the rejection orders passed on his representation. 2. In view of the above, since the authorities have passed orders on the representation of the petitioner in pursuance of the orders passed by this Court, disobedience of which is complained of in this Contempt Case, and as the petitioner intends to challenge the rejection orders passed on his representation, this Contempt Case can be closed. 3. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
