Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:34842 Court No. - 9 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 7023 of 2025 Petitioner :- Smt. Jairaji(Since Deceased) And 6 Others Respondent :- Regional Manager, U.P.S.R.T.C., Rapti Nagar Depot And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Amitabh Patel,Raj Kumar Yadav Counsel for Respondent :- Sunil Kumar Misra Hon'ble Rohit Ranjan Agarwal,J. This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(a) Issue an order or direction to the learned Court below i.e. Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Prayagraj (North) to decide the Claim Petition No. 355/2021 (Jairaji and others Vs Regional Manager, U.P.S.R.T.C., Rapti Nagar Depot, Gorakhpur, U.P. and others), as expeditiously as possible, if possible, within a short stipulated period, which is at present pending in the court of Learned Motor Accident Claim Tribunal (North), Prayagraj since the year 2021." It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that Motor Accident Claims Petition is pending consideration since 2021 before Motor Accident Claims Tribunal. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to the private respondent, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon Tribunal concerned to decide the pending Motor Accident Claim Petition No. 355/2021 (Jairaji and others Vs Regional Manager, U.P.S.R.T.C., Rapti Nagar Depot, Gorakhpur, U.P. and others) after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merits.
