This application has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in connection with R.C. No.06(A)/2025-R registered for the offence under sections 61(2) of BNS, 2023 and Section 7,7A, 8, 11,12 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, pending in court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner XVII Cum Spl. Judge, CBI, Ranchi.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner is Security Officer and allegations are made that he has taken money from Mukesh Kumar for managing coal lifting. He then submits that the petitioner and two other accused persons have gone to CBI after receiving notice under section 35(3) of BNSS, 2023, however on that day, petitioner has been taken into custody and he is in custody since
14.7.2025. He next submits that the charge sheet has been submitted on

12.06.2025 and the petitioner will not tamper with any of the evidence if he is released on regular bail.
4. Mr. Deepak Bharti, the learned counsel for the respondent CBI opposes prayer and submits that petitioner happened to be Security Officer of CCL and has taken money from Mukesh Kumar for facilitating coal lifting and this was continuous process.

In view of above and considering that the petitioner is in custody since 14.7.2025 and charge sheet has been submitted and it has been asserted that the petitioner will not tamper with the evidences if he is granted regular bail, and in that view of the matter, I am inclined to grant regular bail to petitioner.

Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner XVIII Cum Spl. Judge, CBI, Ranchi, in connection with R.C. No.06(A)/2025-R.
