The writ petitioner is not represented. 2. The writ petition was filed for a direction upon the respondent authorities to provide adequate number of beds in Government hospitals and a separate ward, washrooms for the transgender suffering from Covid-19 and also to formulate guidelines for sensitization the health care providers, nurses, employees and members of the staff of all the hospitals. 3. The Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare has affirmed an affidavit on 14th January, 2021 disclosing the steps taken by the Government in providing facilities to the transgender. 4. The matter, however, has lost its relevance in view of the fact that the Covid-19 is over. However, we emphasize that adequate medical facilities should be provided in the Government hospitals for the transgender for their treatment and care to the health care providers, nurses, employees and members of 2 the staff of all the hospitals shall be sanitized and instructed accordingly. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. 6. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 7.
