AG Hon'ble Shri Justice Arvind Kumar Verma Order on Board 16/06/2025 Heard. 2 1. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following relief(s) : “10 (i). That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate Writ, Order, and Direction to Respondent No.2 to release the balance payment of Rs.16,87,139/-to the petitioner, in the interest of justice. 10(ii). That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate Writ, Order, and Direction to Respondent No.2 to to pay interest @ 8% on balance amount of Rs.16,87,139/- from 19.12.2022 till date, in the interest of justice. 10(iii). Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court may deemed fit be granted.” 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the work allotted to the petitioner was successfully completed by the petitioner and the work completion certificate to that effect was issued. 3. Learned counsel for the State/respondents submits that if the work allotted to the petitioner has been completed, after verification of the same, the admissible amount, if any, would be released within a stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for both the parties. 3 5. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for both the parties and particularly considering that the work allotted to the petitioner by the respondents has been completed, and payment of Rs.12,63,139/- has been paid to the petitioner and the petitioner further claiming the amount of Rs.6,87,139/-, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to release the undisputed/admissible amount to the petitioner after verification of the same within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order, as per relevant rules, regulations and law. 6.
