ORDER:
The instant criminal petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ‘Cr.P.C)/under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) has been filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 3, seeking quashment of the proceedings pending against them in FIR No.40 of 2025 on the file of Singanamala P.S., Ananthapuram District registered for the offences punishable under Sections 332(b), 118(1), 351(1) r/w 3(5) BNS.
2. Heard Ms. Uma Devi, learned counsel representing Sri Yerramsetty Venkatesh, learned counsel for the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 3 and Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioners brought to the notice of this Court that some of the accused herein are female persons. The police are calling them to the Police Station. She would further submit that the petition may be
disposed of by giving a direction to the concerned police not to call the petitioners to the Police Station unless their presence is marked according to the procedure established by law.
4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders by giving necessary directions to the police.

5. Considering the submissions made, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. However, the police are at liberty to proceed with the investigation and they are further directed not to call the accused to the police station unless their presence is required according to law.
