1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is the reduction of his pay scale for the month of December 2023 and January 2024 and VEDPRAKASH DEWANGAN Digitally signed by VEDPRAKASH DEWANGAN Date: 2025.06.17 18:29:21 +0530
2 also reduction of his pay scale by 50% from the month of March 2025 and for restoration of his entire pay scale in accordance with the rules.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is employed as a Teacher (LB) and presently posted at Government Middle School, Adivasi Mohalla, Gharghoda, District Raigarh. Earlier, he was placed on the pay scale of Rs. 41,100/-, which continued up to the month of November 2023, whereas for the month of December 2023 and January 2024, his pay scale was reduced from Rs. 41,100/- to Rs. 33,145/- without any reason and further restored the pay scale of Rs. 41,100/- from the month of February 2024. He would further submit that in the month of April 2024, his pay scale was again reduced to Rs. 38,360/- and again restored to Rs. 41,100/- in the month of May 2024. He would also submit that the pay scale of the petitioner has again reduced to Rs. 21,150/- from the month of March 2025, which continued till date.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioner has moved his representation, but the authorities have not accepted his representation and the reduction of the pay scale of the petitioner would prejudicely affect him financially as well as his service career. There is no reason for reduction of his pay scale and there is no notice served upon him showing the reason for reduction of his pay scale. He would further submit that the petitioner is willing to make his representation before the respondent No. 4 and the present petition may be disposed of with the direction that, in the event, the petitioner makes his
3 representation before the Respondent No. 4, the same shall be decided in accordance with law within a reasonable period.
4. The submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner with respect to the submission of his representation and decision on his representation within a reasonable period, has not been opposed by the State counsel.
5. Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner in the present petition and submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the petitioner is directed to make his detailed representation along with a copy of this
order to the Respondent No. 4, who shall take a decision on the representation of the petitioner within 60 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and representation, in accordance with law, after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties.
