Mannan, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Ms. R. Hussain, learned Standing Counsel, DRI. 2. This is an application filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 praying for granting bail to the petitioners in NDPS Case No.150/2023 arising out of DRI Case No.01/CL/NDPS/HEROIN/DRI/GZU/2023-24 registered under Section 21(c)/22(c)/23(c) and 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, pending before the Court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge No.1, Kamrup (M) at Guwahati. 3. It is submitted that all the 11 (eleven) witnesses have already been examined but cross-examination of the eleventh witness is still awaited. 4. This Court is of the opinion that at this stage allowing the petitioners to go on bail would hamper early disposal of the case before the learned Trial Curt. 5. Therefore, this bail application is rejected, the Trial Court is directed to undertake efforts to expeditiously dispose of the case within a period of next 3 (three) months. 6.
