Order on Board 14/01/2025
1. By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:-
“i. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to grant arrears to the petitioner from the date on which the petitioner has been granted revised pay scale just after completion of 8 years of service, which the petitioner is entitled for in the light of the order passed by this Hon'ble Court, to the date of actual payment with interest. ii. Any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court deems fit
3 and proper, may also kindly be granted to the petitioner, in the interest of justice.”
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is entitled to get arrears of revised pay scale though earlier there was no provision in the budget, but now the budget has already been allotted for the year 2022, therefore, he would submit that the instant petition may be disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make a representation before the concerned authority within three weeks.
3. Learned State Counsel would submit that the fund has already been allotted in the budget for distribution of arrears.
4. Accordingly, the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner is considered and accordingly, the instant petition is
disposed of with a direction to file representation. In the eventuality of filing of representation by the petitioner before the concerned authority within "three weeks" from today, the same shall be "decided by the concerned authority within "four weeks" from the date of receipt of such representation.
5. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands
