Page No.# 3/3 BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE KARDAK ETE ORDER Date : 28-11-2025 Heard Mr. N. C. K. Hazarika, learned counsel for the applicants. Also heard Mr. D. Gogoi, learned Standing Counsel, PNB. By filing this interlocutory application, the applicants seek to implead the Punjab National Bank as party respondent No. 2 in the connected writ petition being WP(C) No. 7822/2018. Having considered the submissions of the learned counsels for the parties and also on a perusal of the grounds for impleadment of the Punjab National Bank as party respondent, I am of the considered view that for proper adjudication of the issues involved in the connected writ petition, being WP(C) No. 7822/2018, the Punjab National Bank, which is sought to be impleaded, appears to be a necessary party. Thus, I deem it appropriate to allow this interlocutory application.
Accordingly, the Punjab National Bank represented by the Chief Manager, Punjab National Bank, G. S. Road Branch, Ulubari, Guwahati, be allowed to be impleaded as respondent No. 2 in the connected writ petition being WP(C) No. 7822/2018. The interlocutory application stands allowed and disposed of.
