GUNESHWAR SHARMA ORDER 12.11.2025 [1] Present Mr. Stephen P, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. R.K. Emily, learned Dy. GA for the State respondents. [2] It is submitted that in the mediation proceedings dated 29.10.2025, the parties have amicably settled the dispute and the present writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the settlement in the mediation proceedings dated 29.10.2025 and the same is reproduced below: “MEMORANDUM OF SETTLEMENT Dated 29.10.2025 WHEREAS, the Petitioner filed W.P. (Civil) No.480 of 2025 seeking relief to release the pending bills for execution of the following work orders: ➤ EE/SHD/W.O/5054/2022-23/7 dated 16.03.2023; ➤ EE/SHD/W.O/5054/2022-23/8 dated 16.03.2023; ➤ EE/SHD/W.O/5054/2022-23/9 dated 17.03.2023; ➤ EE/SHD/W.O/5054/2022-23/10 dated 17.03.2023; ➤ EE/SHD/W.O/5054/2022-23/11 dated 17.03.2023 and ➤ EE/SHD/W.O/5054/2022-23/13 dated 16.03.2023 OINAM THOIB A MEITEI Digitally signed by OINAM THOIBA MEITEI Date: 2025.11.14 11:23:32 +05'30' 1. That during the pendency of the writ petition, the Hon'ble High Court passed an order dated 11.08.2025 referring the matter to mediation for amicable settlement. 2. That the respondents department has acknowledged that the bill amount claimed by the Petitioner for execution of the above work orders is undisputed. 3. That, the respondent No.3 has verified the above work orders executed by the Petitioner. 4. That, the Respondent No.3 has already made part payment to the Petitioner towards the said bill amount, which is enclosed as under. 5. That, the Petitioner and Respondents agreed remaining balance amount shall be released in favour of the Petitioner in accordance with seniority wise order of pending payments maintained by the department. 6. Both parties agree that the payment will be made without further delay as per availability of funds and in accordance with departmental Procedure. 7. That in view of the above, the Petitioner and Respondents amicably agreed that the said Writ Petition(C) No. 480 of 2025 pending before the Hon'ble High Court shall be disposed of in terms of the settlement agreement.” [3] In terms of the mediation proceedings dated 29.10.2025, the W.P. (C) No. 480 of 2025 is disposed of. [4] Any interim order is merged with the final order. JUDGE Thoiba
