Learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 submits that, as against the order of Deputy Commissioner, there is a provision for appeal to be filed before the Appellate Authority under Section 17 of the Karnataka Essential Commodities (Public Distribution System) Control Order, 1992. 3. In light of availability of an alternative remedy as stated hereinabove, the petition is disposed off - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:21750 WP No. 15239 of 2025 without entering into the merits of the matter. In the event, the petitioner approaches the Appellate Authority within ten days, the time spent before this Court could be taken up appropriately for the purpose of calculation of limitation.
