JUSTICE SHAMIMA JAHAN ORDER 03/02/2026 Heard Mr. R P Hazarika, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. M P Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent. This is an application filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act for condonation of delay of 6 (six) days in filing the connected criminal revision petition. The learned counsel for the applicant states the reasons for the delay in paragraph Nos.-4, 5 & 6 of the said application, wherein, the applicant had stated that the entire brief was handed over to the counsel to prefer a criminal revision petition. However, it is stated that the impugned judgment was not made online for few days and the same could not be acquired and that led to the delay of 6 (six) days in filing the connected criminal revision petition. This Court is satisfied with the reasons given by the applicant in the said application and deems it fit to condon the delay of 6 (six) days in preferring the connected criminal revision petition.
