After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this Criminal Revision Application. However, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the direction be given to the learned Court below to expedite the trial and the trial may be disposed of in the light of provision of Section 14 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 at the earliest.
2. Learned A.P.P raised no objection.
3. It appears that the trial is pending before the Juvenile Justice Board, Simdega for around two (02) years.
4. Accordingly, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to withdraw this Criminal Revision No. 1003 of 2024.
5. However, the learned Court below is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible by following the mandate of Section 14 of the Juvenile Justice Act and shall examine the prosecution witnesses on day to day basis and shall also call for the I.O, Doctor and the guardian of victim at the earliest by giving notice in advance..
6. Thus, the instant Criminal Revision No. 1003 of 2024 is dismissed as withdrawn.
