When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home upon written instructions would submit that since there is no crime registered against the petitioner, the Police never called the petitioner to the Police Station. Sri Vardhineedi Sai Kiran, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Police are directed to follow the due process of law. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand 3. 4. closed.
