(Oral) Careful perusal of reply filed by respondent No. 3 under the signatures of Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh, reveals that vide order dated 22.11.2024 (Annexure R-2), petitioner herein has already been sanctioned study leave for the LLB Course (2024-27) from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, with salary of 40% of his present salary/pay as per the provisions contained in notification No. Fin(C)A(3)5/2023 dated 07.08.2024 subject to certain conditions. If it is so, no action of the respondents can be said to be contumacious. 2. Faced with aforesaid situation, learned counsel representing the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present 2 petition with liberty to file appropriate proceeding at appropriate stage, if so required and desired.
