The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Barhi P.S. Case No. 241 of 2025, registered for the offences under Sections 317(5) and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 11(D) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act and Section 12(i)(ii) of Jharkhand Bovine Animals (Prohibition of Slaughter) Act, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Hazaribag.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the owner of the pick-up van and allegations are made that two bovine animals were carried in the said vehicle in a cruel manner. He submits that the petitioner is nothing to do with the said vehicle and he is having no criminal antecedent and disclosure to that effect has been made in para-14 of the petition.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the vehicle in question and allegation is made that in cruel manner, the bovine animals were being transported.

Considering that the petitioner is the owner of the vehicle

in question and further the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and disclosure to that effect has been made in para-14 of the petition, I am inclined to provide the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is hereby
directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today, and in the event of her surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Hazaribag, in connection with Barhi P.S. Case No. 241 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,
