Also heard Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Addl. P.P., Assam appearing for the State. This is an application filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for regular bail in connection with Jakhalabandha P.S. Case Page No.# 2/2 No.106/2025 registered under Sections 31(2)/303(2) of the BNS, 2023 read with Sections 9/39/40(2)/44/52 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. The learned Addl. P.P. has submitted that the case has resulted in a charge-sheet bearing Charge-Sheet No.84/25 dated 28.11.2025. In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be given liberty to approach the learned Trial Court seeking appropriate relief. Liberty as prayed for is granted. On an application being filed by the petitioner before the learned Trial Court, the same shall be considered on its own merit without reference to the present withdrawal.
