Heard Mr. N. Nath, the learned counsel for the petitioner and also heard Mr. Page No.# 2/3 K. Baishya, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of State respondent. 2. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 by the petitioner, Langhu Robertson Anthony Anal, seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Bhangagarh P.S. Case No.90/2025, under Sections 61(2)/318(4)/ 336(3)/340(1)316(5) of the BNS, 2023. 3. The case arose out of an FIR dated 23.05.2025 lodged by an official of the Punjab National Bank. The gist of the allegation is that fraudulently banking transaction amounting approximately Rs.6,00,000/-. One Dhiren Baishya, named in the FIR, has been attributed with the main role in these fraudulent transactions. The present petitioner is stated to be a bank official and as he has been called by the police for examination, he apprehends arrest and hence this petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks interim protection. 4. The interim bail was granted to the petitioner on 16.09.2025, thereafter, he is stated to have appeared before the I/O and statement recorded and the same is confirmed by the learned Addl. P.P.
5. The case diary has also been received. 6. The Addl. P.P. submits that the petitioner has admitted in his statement and it is also revealed by the investigation that the petitioner relied upon the Dhiren Baishya, the main accused who worked as a clerk in the bank without cross verifying the particulars and that the same was in violation of the stipulated procedure. 7. It is submitted that the main accused, Dhiren Baishya was arrested and in the meantime, he has been enlarged on bail. 8. In the given circumstances and also since the petitioner has rendered his
Page No.# 3/3 cooperation; therefore, I am not inclined to cancel his interim bail.
Accordingly, the interim bail granted to the aforesaid petitioner vide order dated 16.09.2025 is hereby made absolute, subject, of course, to the following conditions:- (i) he shall continue rendering co-operation with the investigation. (ii) he shall not hamper or tamper with the evidence. 9. Violation of any bail condition will entail cancellation of the bail. 10. Accordingly, this instant anticipatory bail application stands allowed and disposed of. 7. Send back the case diary. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
