For the respondent(s) Mr. Ashutosh Anand, Advocate. ------ 04/09.01.2025: The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the retiral benefits i.e. Gratuity, Leave Encasement and Medical Allowance of the petitioner was paid after the delay of 39 months, thus the petitioner is entitled for the interest on such delayed payment. Considering the prayer made by the petitioner, I direct the petitioner to approach the Medical Superintendent, Employees State Insurance Corporation, Medical Hospital, Namkum, Ranchi praying for interest on delayed payment. The said Authority will scrutinize the document and if it is found that there is delay in payment of Gratuity, Leave Encasement and Medical Allowance, interest @ 8% per annum should be paid to the petitioner. In case the interest is denied, reasons thereof should also be communicated to the petitioner. The entire process will be completed within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
