In the present writ petition following prayers have been made by the petitioner:- "1. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 16.01.2025 passed by the District Consumer Redressal Commissioner Basti/respondent No-2 in complaint Case No.410/2023 (Anand Swaroop Srivastava versus Rahmat Ali). 2. Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondent No-2/District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissioner Basti to not recover the amount/money in pursuance of impugned order dated 16.01.2025 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissioner Basti/respondent No.2 in complaint Case No.410/2023 (Anand Swaroop Srivastava versus Rahmat Ali." 3. Upon a perusal of the documents, we are of the view that since an alternative remedy is available to the petitioner by way of filing an appeal before the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, therefore, this Court should not interfere in the impugned order. 4. In light of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty granted to the petitioner to file an appeal as aforesaid in accordance with law.
