PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short “Cr.P.C.”) seeking to quash the proceedings initiated against the petitioner in Crime No.61 of 2021, on the file of Peddapappur Police Station, Ananthapur District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code (for short “IPC”) & 7(1) of Essential Commodities Act, 1955. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the police have completed the investigation by issuing notice under Section 41 of Cr.P.C to the petitioner, and the charge sheet was also filed before the Court. 3. Recording the said submissions, this Criminal Petition is dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to question the charge sheet, if he so advised. There shall be no order as to costs.
