The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in conducting an enquiry regarding the alleged misappropriations, irregularities, and environmental damage in the development of URA Cheruvu, Jaggaiahapet. It is submitted that the petitioner made a representation to the respondents, calling upon them to conduct an enquiry into the alleged misappropriations. 3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 4th respondent submits that the 5th respondent is the wife of the contractor who has passed away. It is submitted that the contractor was awarded a contract relating to the strengthening and renovation of the band of URA Cheruvu. It is further submitted that the petitioner had earlier filed a complaint against the contractor, which was dismissed. It is also submitted that the tender procedure was followed, and the work was completed to the satisfaction of the engineer. 4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
