Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 27 of 2023 for the offences registered under Sections 414, 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 66(B), 66(C), 66(D) of the I.T. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Cyber Crime, Jamtara.

On 15.05.2023, Cyber Police Jamtara, on the basis of confidential information that cyber criminals have assembled in the house of co-accused Mustakin Ansari, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended several co-accused persons from there.

It was submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that the name of this petitioner has transpired in the confession of apprehended co-accused persons. It was finally submitted that several co-accused persons have been granted bail by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court.

In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Cyber Crime, Jamtara, in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 27 of 2023.
