Respondent/s BEFORE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE A. GUNESHWAR SHARMA Order 10.12.2025 [1] Present Mr. M. Rendy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. RK. Emily, learned Dy. G.A. for the State respondent. [2] The dispute between the parties has been settled in mediation proceeding dated 05.12.2025. The medication proceeding is reproduced as: “Settlement Agreement Imphal, 5th December, 2025 As directed by the Hon'ble High Court order dated 26/08/2025 passed in W.P. (C) No. 1152 of 2018, all the parties from both the sides were present in person for 6 (six) sessions of mediation on 18/09/2025, 09/10/2025, 05/11/2025, 20/11/2025, 03/12/2025 and 05/12/2025 and agreed to the following terms and conditions to bring about an amicable solution to the above-mentioned Writ Petition. The parties agreed to the following terms and conditions: That, the 2nd party mainly the Respondent No. 2, Managing Director, MSPDCL, hereby agrees and undertake to pay the undisputed pending bill amount of 6,50,000/- (Rupees six lakh and fifty thousand) only out of the total claimed amount of 15,41,547/- (Rupees Fifteen lakh forty-one thousand five hundred and forty-seven) only to the 1st Party Shri H. Ratan Singh proprietor M/s. Ratan Electrical and Manufacturing Industry as full and final settlement amount within the period of two months from this day of agreement to the following account number of the 1 Party. Account Name: RATAN ELECTRICAL GOODS MANUFACTURING IND Account Number: 50200035654195 IFSC Code: HDFC0004475 That, the 2nd Party agreed to accept the undisputed pending bills payment and hereby undertakes to make no further claims with respect to the said matter other than the agreed outstanding bills amount payable to him. That, it has been agreed that the aforesaid Writ Petition filed before the Hon'ble High Court of Manipur against the Second party and the 2 Others shall be disposed of in terms of this Settlement. That, this agreement should be final and binding to all the parties concerned. In the light of above terms, the mutual agreement was signed between the Petitioner and Respondents of W.P. (C) No. 1152 of 2018 in the presence of the Mediator.” [3] It is submitted that the writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the mediation proceeding. [4] Accordingly, taking into consideration the settlement in the mediation, writ petition is disposed of in terms of the mediation proceeding dated 05.12.2025.
