It is the specific case of the petitioner that, as per Clause 8(4)(ii) of the Control Orders, 2018, the enquiry is to be completed preferably within a period of ninety (90) days from the date of initiation of the action against the petitioner. He would further submit that, despite suspending the authorization of the petitioner in the month of June, 2019, till date no final orders have been passed in the matter. He would further submit that he made a representation dated 15.07.2024 to the respondent, seeking restoration of his authorization. Questioning the action of the respondents, for not restoring the authorization of the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed. I On the other hand, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies would submit that due to administrative contingencies, the enquiry could not be completed within the stipulated time. He further submits that, as an alternative 2. 5 W.P.NO.1820:. measure, the 7**^ respondent was appointed as a temporary dealer to distribute the essential commodities. Having regard to the submissions made by both the learned counsel on record, this Court feels that it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition by directing the 3'^^ respondent to complete enquiry within a period of one (01) month from today, and pass appropriate orders in the matter. It is needless to mention that the S'"* respondent shall afford opportunity of being heard to the petitioner before passing such an order. 3. 4.
