With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 3. Petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to allow him to contribute to the General Provident Fund in view of office memorandum dated 17.04.2023 (Annexure P-3). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred a representation on 21.02.2024 (Annexure P-2) to respondent No.3 in relation to the above grievance, but the said authority has not as yet taken any call on the said representation. 4. Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3/ competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 21.02.2024 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
