Admittedly, the appellant-Rahul, after serving out the sentence, as imposed upon him by the Trial Court, has been released from the jail. However, in order to afford an opportunity to him, this Court, by order dated 19.05.2025 had issued notice to him if he wants to obliterate the stigma attached with the conviction. The notice so issued has personally been served upon him on 01.04.2025, however, there is no representation even today on his behalf except the amicus curiae appointed by this Court. Learned amicus curiae does not want to address on merit. 4. In such view of the matter, this Court has no other option but to decide the matter. 5. Inasmuch as, the appellant has served out the conviction and sentence; he has been released from jail on 13.06.2020; and further there being no representation from his behalf, nothing further remains to be done.
