This is a bail application U/S.483 of BNSS by the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Dhenkanal Town PS Case No.490 of 2025 corresponding to GR Case No.1038 of 2025 pending in the file of learned SDJM, Dhenkanal for commission of offences punishable U/Ss.419/420/467/468 of IPC, on the main allegation of cheating the informant by taking some amount after issuing forged money receipt. 3. Heard, Mr. Anirudha Das, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. T.K. Acharya, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor in the matter and perused the record. 4. After having considered the rival submissions upon perusal of record, there appears allegation against the Petitioner for cheating the informant by issuing forged money receipt, but fact remains that despite order being passed to produce certain documents, the Petitioner has failed to produce document and this Court is only having the copy of rejection order. In the meanwhile, there must be some progress in the investigation which is yet to be brought to the notice of this Court. In such situation, this Court while not being inclined to grant bail to the Petitioner, grants liberty to him to approach the learned trial Court by bringing on record the new developments of the stage of investigation. 5. Hence, the bail application of the petitioner stands rejected with aforesaid liberty. Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
