Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have moved an application before the Collector for grant of lease pertaining to Survey No. 224, admeasuring 1.090 hectare situated at Village Padita, District Korea on 4.8.2020 (Annexure-P/8) filed alongwith the present petition, which has not been decided till date. He would submit that respondent authorities may be directed to decide the pending application expeditiously. 3 2. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondents would oppose the submissions made by counsel for the petitioners. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 4. Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioners, this petition, at this juncture, is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to decide the pending application of the petitioners for grant of lease pertaining to Survey No. 224, admeasuring 1.090 hectares situated at Village Padita, District Korea dated 4.8.2020 preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authority concerned would be at liberty to decide the application on its own merits. The concerned authority shall provide sufficient opportunity to the petitioners as well as respondent No.6. 6. With the aforesaid direction(s), the petition is disposed of.
