Heard Mr. L. Raju, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The present contempt application has been filed for the alleged willful and deliberate disobedience of the judgment &
order dated 18.07.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 681 of 2020 as well the order dated 05.12.2025 passed by a Division Bench of this Court in WA no. 8 of 2025. It is the admitted facts that the present petitioner was not a party in the proceeding of either in the writ petition or in the Writ appeal. However, Mr. L. considered for appointment to the advertise post of Director, EMMRC along with other eligible candidates if any. According to the
learned counsel, the present petitioner is also one of the eligible candidates and as such she has filed the present contempt case. For the alleged willful and deliberate disobedience of the judgment and order passed by this Court on 18.07.2024 in WP(C) No. 681 of 2020, the original writ petitioner viz Shri. Kshetrimayum Tejkeshware Singh has already filed Cont. Case (C) No. 138 of 2024 and the matter is pending before this Court. As the petitioner in the present contempt case is not a party in the proceedings of the writ petition as well as the writ appeal, and as there is a contempt petition pending before this Court filed by the original petitioner in WP(C) No. 681 of 2020, this Court is not inclined to entertain this contempt petition. Accordingly, the contempt case is hereby dismissed.
