Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the unilateral action of 2'^'^ respondent in marking the petitioner’s property for the purpose of road widening. \

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is nd not against the proposed road widening, if any, undertaken by the 2 respondent. It is submitted that any such exercise by the 2"^ respondent must be carried out in accordance with law, by following the provisions of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act 30 of 2013). It is further submitted that several writ petitions were filed by the individual petitioners who were similarly placed along with the petitioner on the same road and this Court directed the 2 nd respondent to follow the due process of law in accordance with Act 30 of
2013. Considering the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner and after hearing the learned Standing Counsel for the 2"^^ respondent, the 2 respondent is hereby directed not to disturb or dispossess the petitioner without following the due procedure invoking the provisions of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
